Meet The Face Behind Kodiak Security Services
I’m Aki Peterson, The Chief Operations Officer of Kodiak Security Services.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
From a very young age, I have always been interested in police and security work. So, when I joined the security industry, I was thrilled with my career choice. Through this profession, I can help people and prevent crimes from happening, which makes me feel accomplished as a professional.
As Kodiak Security expanded from just two guards at Spokane International Airport to sixty full-time employees stationed all around the Spokane area. We also moved from doing everything on paper to technologically advanced software and device applications that track our employees in real-time, provide reports to our clients, and calculate payroll and billing. Additionally, we now offer security guards for some of Spokane’s top companies.
As security professionals, besides being in shape, we also need to plan to ensure the area we’re protecting is secure. I enjoy the security planning process. But, I especially love it when a plan comes together, and we hear from our clients that our officers deter theft and vandalism. I also like to hear from clients that just our presence has made their employees feel safer and happier.
To create a comfortable environment for our clients, it is crucial to develop and nurture positive employee-customer relationships. The next step is to treat their situation as our own. For example, if our partners aren’t successful, then neither are we. As a result, we will do our best to overcome the obstacles in our path.
To overcome the challenges, we ensure that our team comprises happy, well-treated, and highly professional employees willing to offer long-term loyalty. This guarantees satisfied customers, who often share positive experiences with others about our services.
Additionally, we like to work with honesty, integrity, consistency, and flexibility, so our clients enjoy the services we provide, and we can exceed their expectations.
I especially love being validated by a large client who chose quality over cost and being told by that client they were glad they made the decision to choose us over a competitor. It puts a swing in my step and encourages the team and me to keep doing our best.
When I’m not protecting life and property with my security services, I like to go hiking with my dog. I also enjoy skiing, drawing, home improvements, and learning how to cook.
Besides this, I feel very strongly about the environment, specifically the conservation of natural wildlife around the world. These are aspects we all need to take an interest in to preserve our planet.
